About Us: The Grouse Nest Restaurant opened it's doors in February of 2001. Owner's Randy and Melody Strickland wanted to create a Hocking Hills restaurant featuring fine dining with a casual laid-back atmosphere. A gathering place for all to enjoy when visiting the Hocking Hills and for those who live in the Hocking Hills Region. The Grouse Nest Restaurant is located at the Hocking Hills Resort around the corner from Ash Cave. Besides enjoying great foods and drink, sporting events on the large screen HiRes TV, and an occasional live band, you can also enjoy the garden area with a hammock in the summer and hike though the woods on the trails that have been made for you to enjoy.
